What
is FTP? Think of a restaurant. Usually a restaurant has two entrances; a front door where customers enter and exit, and a service entrance where deliveries are made. Usually through the service entrance you see how a restaurant works. You see the food being prepped, machinery being used, and servers bringing the dishes to customers. This is much how FTP and HTTP work. FTP is the service entrance where you're able to make deliveries (upload files) and make changes. HTTP is how the website is meant to look, a facade. Luckily, Midtown Printing has made a service entrance through our front door, which allows anyone to upload files without needing to have an extensive background in FTP. Please read our section on How to Upload to learn more about uploading to our in-house server. Although we do not support uploading with an FTP client at this time, here are some resources if you are interested in getting an FTP client. |
